"Food sounds good," Mace said stretching, "then bed."

"Alright, Mace, check them and start fixing Zaft, then you can grab a microwavable hot ham and cheese, then we head to bed," DVB said.

"You sure you guys don't wany anything?" he asked Zaft amd Cisume as he tried to make a meatball sub, though it was hard wih one hand.

Mace shoot up. "Oh crap, I guess I dozed off there,: he said rubbing his eyes, "I'll make something myself." Mace stood up and walked to the kitchen and grabbed a block of ramen. He got a pot and started to cook it.

Cisume started to shiver, "I'm so cold." she said weakly. She was about to say something else, but she collapsed on the ground. She continued shaking and her breath came in short rasps.

"Cisume?" Zaft said surprised. He pushed off from the wall and tried to walk closer, but didn't get far before his wings threw him off balance and he too landed on the floor. Part of him was worried, but yet another part was slightly happy. Cisume was weak, but there was something that made her strong, immune for the most part to the brainwashing. She was a threat to the Xeuz.

Mace ran over to Cisume in panic. "DVB get some medicine quick!"

"Zaft, go to the med-lab and hit the Emergancy Button, it's the big red one with a white cross on it, now! Mace, get your mind equipment ready!" DVB said as he picked up Cisume, evtn though his arm was broken.

"It was all in the old building! remember!" Mace yelled in panic, "I'll have to improvise!" Mace grabbed several CD-i game disks.

"I packed some of the ewuipment in the backpack, Mace," he said calmly as he started carrying Cisume to the med-lab, wincing at the pain his arm was in.

Zaft sat up, but didn't move after that. He wasn't quite ready to help yet, his brain was still trying to sort out his conflicting ideas on the matter at hand.

"Stop joking! You can't fit a super computer, medical table, important glowly things, a monitor, and a key board in the frikin backpack crazed one!" Mace yelled in anger.

"Zaft, Cisume is suffering, have you really sold yourself to the Xeuz, she cares about you! So go to the room and push the button!" DVB shouted. "There is a super-labtop, 10 jumpdrives with your files and there is a table in the med-lab," he said.

If there are supercomputers, then there can be super-labtops.

"I don't like taking orders, I'd rather give them." Zaft said, somewhat dazidly.

DVB sighed as he laid Cisume on the couch. "Then what do you recommand?" he asked losing his patience.

"I say just leave her." Zaft said with a shrug. A second later there was a puzzled look on his face, "Wait? What did I say?" he asked utterly confused.

DVB cursed under his breath. "Mace, hurry up, NOW!" DVB said as he started charging his right arm with energy. He then ran and stunned Zaft. "Sorry, but she ever found out..." he didn''t say anything after that as he managed to pick up Zaft and lay him on the other sofa.

Zaft felt a pulse of electricity surge through his body, but after that he didn't feel anything. He just layed there in an electrified daze.

Mace ran from the storage closet to the main room with his arms full of supplies. "GAH! I don't have medical training!" He then saw Zaft on the floor. "Ok, is every one going to fall dead?"

"Run a scan on his mind, Mace. He said to leave her to suffer. It's the brainwashing, so help him. Can you imagine what would happen if Cisume found out what he had said?" DVB said.

"I'll try..." Mace said stressed out. Mace popped the disk in, forced Zaft's eyes open, and started to play Link: The Faces of Evil. "I hope this clears out his mind, I know mine's being cleared," he said as the first cut scene started.

"I hope this doesn't count as torture..." DVB said as he started combining a labtop, parts of an old microwave, a virtual reality helmet, a small TV and dozens of lights, computer chips, gear and other stuff.

"Thank goodness!" Mace said to DVB without looking away from the T.V, "I can't build to save my life, but I could code software for that in a heart beat!... Now just let me finish this level."
