Now Cisume wasn't even shivering anymore, just laying there weak and fevered.

DVB finished the helmet and placed on Zaft. "Mace, start programming the helmet," DVB said while he placed his palm on Cisume's head. As DVB's face started losing color, Cisume started looikng healthier and her fever going down. DVB said, "She'll feel much better," before going to the restroom and started vomiting.

((O.o DVB can heal anemia??? I had this whole thing planned out...))

Cisume rolled over in her sleep, she was felling a bit better, but still not one-hundred percent. She was unaware of it, but every second her body was attacking more and more of her red blood cells. If she didn't get professional medical attention soon, the odds would not be too good.

((I didn't know what she was suffering from))

After the vomit, he was on the web, searching for what could be wrong with Cisume, the results weren't pretty. "MACE! i know what's wrong with Cisume, She's suffering from anemia! Her body is attacking her own red blood cells," he shouted as he continued looking for operations, surgery and the like.


((Only minorly, mostly pain relief and to get a clue of what is happening in her body, curing would've a cost a leg))

"Get her on a stretcher!" Mace yelled. After a few seconds a van's horn was heard. "I don't know who's van this is but it's mine now!" he yelled from the road.

DVB cursed as there was only one strecther and Zaft was currently on it. He tied a rope to it and to his waist. Then he started carrying Cisume, with Zaft strapped on the stretcher behind him. "Zaft, any ideas on what could've happened? I mean you known her the longest," DVB asked.

((Yeah, sorry. I shouldn't have expected you to know... I was a bit busy when I typed that. Sorry.))

The numbing sensation from the electricity started to clear, and Zaft noticed he was now moving, "Hmm? I don't know." he said a bit dazed.

"So she didn't so signs of it before the Xeuz?" DVB said as they were nearing the hospital.

Zaft shook his head, "No. She's never shown signs of anything until now." he said.

"If the Xeuz caused this..." DVB said before starting mutter a string a threats. "Zaft, we're almost at the hospital. I think it's best if you didn't say anything about condition," DVB said as he, Zaft and Mace approached the hospital.

"Ok. Do you think they can fix my wing while we're here?" Zaft asked. It was still broken.

"That would make them very suspicious," DVB said in a dead-panned voice.

"Oh, ok then..." Zaft said. He hadn't expected to be turned down like that.

"Well maybe, the thing is we're trying to be carful for yours and Cisume's sake," DVB said as he and Mace went in. "Hey I think she's started to wake up," DVB said.

Mace jumped out of the van. "Hey, would you guys believe me if I told you that was my first time driving?" he asked happily. Mace looked over at Zaft's wing. "Maybe we could just wrap your wing like one would a bird's broken wing," Mace suggested.

"Hmm..., look that up on the labtop," DVB said. "Cisume, you feeling better?" he asked.

"Well, it's already wraped, I just thought it would be good to make sure all the bones are aligned." Zaft said, "And Cisume still looks pretty passed out to me."

"Well now we have just have to wait the doctor say," DVB says as the group is in the waiting room with Cisume is in the operation room.

A doctor came out from the examination room, "We have some bad news." he said, "Your friend seems to be suffering from anemia. Also, her body is attacking her red blood cells as we speak. I'm surprised she survived this long." he paused, "But that's not all... she will need a transfusion if she is to have any hope of recovering, but we have been low on supplies ever since the Xeuz have come. She has type O blood, we have some in storage, but we don't think it will be enough. It's unlikely, but possible that one of you has type O. We would like to test you all and, with your permission, perform the transfusion." the doctor said nervously.

Mace held his arm up to the doctor. "I will volunteer," Mace said firmly, "you have my permission to use my blood." Mace had no idea what blood type he was, but he knew had a good chance of being O type since it's the common type to have.

"Ditto, she's one of our friends and we won't let her down," DVB said. "Also, can you look at Zaft, he was unwillingly used as an experiment by the Xeuz, his wing is broken," he said, emphasing on unwillingly.

Mace quickly covered up DVB's mouth before he could finish.

"What was that?" the doctor asked. Mace had made it impossible for him to hear the last part of DVB's statement, "Well, lets go test you." he said, taking the group in for blood samples. Zaft ended up being type AB, the universal reciever, and...((You say what blood type your character has.))
