PostSubject: DO NOT BREAK!!   Sat Aug 09, 2008 5:35 pm

1) No Flaming. Not to say you can't disagree with each other, but there's a big difference between saying "I disagree with you and here's why" and "OMG YOU F***ING DONKEY HOLE!" There's no reason you can't state your opinion without being rude. The severity of your flames will determine how we will enforce this rule.

2) No spamming. By that I mean unwanted or unnecessary post, such as: posts that are completely off topic; posts that consist of a single word that serve only as a purpose to get yourself attention; advertising.

3) No pornography. This ranges from images to x-rated stories, posts, or drawings. Admins reserve the right to ban you without warning if you are caught blatantly breaking this rule.

4) No plagiarism. Plagiarism, in case you don't know, is taking someone else's work and claiming it for your own. If you are caught plagiarizing you WILL be banned from both the forum and the site itself without prior warning. I do NOT tolerate plagiarism whatsoever.

5) No EXCESSIVE vulgar language. Sure, there's some times when its tolerable to curse, like if quoting a song or book, or just expressing total disgust with something, but there's no need to say "f@#k" every other word.

6) No sexual references. It's inappropriate and just plain disturbing. I'll start handing out strikes if this continues.

7) Admins can add rules if need be.

Rules Regarding Grave-digging

"Grave-digging" is a word dubbed for reviving a topic that is really old and has most likely fallen to the second page or beyond. It's okay to grave-dig, as long as it's on topic. You may grave-dig/bump your own topic.

If you want to help the moderators out, instead of telling the offender directly that they are disobeying the rules, Tell a moderator and let them know instead. You may even be rewarded for assisting us without creating a fuss in public.

Punishment for first offenders will usually be a warning, but may vary depending how bad the situation is. If you outright refuse to conform you will be banned.

Rules Regarding Advertising (your own sites)

There's nothing BAD about advertising your site, but please. Try to restrain advertising to your sigs and lockers. There's no need to throw in a cheap-plug of your site in a conversation that doesn't even relate to the topic. Senseless advertising CAN get you a warn.

SIG RULES

-max. 300 pixels high
-max. 600 pixels long
-max. 500 KBs in file-size
-no inappropriate content

7) No double posting in topics. Your own lockers, comic topics, art topics, sprite topics, however, are exceptions.

What's wrong with that? As long as it's not spam. And I'll work on some roleplay rules if we don't alreadu have some.
