SCREW THIS!!

Loreic, the reason I chose teenagers is because of what they represent. They represnt growth. Because this is the critical stage where they are most impacted by the choices and thier surroundings to give them the experience they need. Kids represent innocence and adults represent maturity. Yu say that the chracaters will not be able to handle this due to thier lack of experience. But where do you think they will get the experience from?

The average person lives about to the age of eighty. You cut out the childhood, even at eighteen, and you have sixty-two years, you can learn quite a bit in sixty-two years.

I agree, it would be cool to see an older hero for once, but aren't we the characters in the story? I think it'd be a bit easier to write about yourself from what you know. I'd find it a little challenging writing from the perspective of a forty year old me :/
