The website is NaNoWriMo.org. You can sign up for an online account and post your word count, plot ideas, etc., or you could just do this on your own (I suggest signing up, it's more fun that way). You can plan your plot beforehand, but no writing it until November 1st!

My friend posted this on another site, it sounds pretty awesome. Sadly, because I have no original ideas, and the attention span of peanut, I don't think I'm going to enter. I thought you guys might be interested, though.

Maybe if we wrote something together we could make it, almost like a rp, but more novel-ey. We could build off eachother's ideas and stuff.

How about Armeggeddon's Catayclsm, we're technically all wirters of that.

Didn't you already start that? It needs to be all written in November.
