"Hey, do you anything about Rasha?" I asked a nearby inn guest.

The man he asked was a Blip, and in fact a clear pirate. Both his left arm a foot were gone, replaced by a hook and peg respectively. That, and his drink reeked of rum and lime.



"Now why would a bilge rat like ye want t' know?" he Arrr'd.

"We're headed there, Captain uh... what's your name?" I asked him.

"Me name be Captain Grogchug ye scurvy rodent," he replied rudely like a pirate would, "so, you plan on travelin' t' Rasha, eh?" He took a big swig of his alcohol and pondered for a moment. "I'll take ye thar, if you help me with a job..."

"What's your favor?" I asked the pungnacious pirate.

Captain Grogchug looked the group over, eyed the weapons they held, and looked up. "Me job be t' kill t' great black squid, Dobby Mick," he rasped through what sounded like a rusted windpipe, "'f ye do this job for me I'll give ye a discount o' a mere sixteen Gald"

"Hmm, I see," was all I could say, but waited for my group to say something.

I giggled to myself, but straightened out when the pirate guy gave me a strange look. Dobby Mick, now that was funny. I wasn't to thrilled to have another little job to do, but we did need to get somewhere, just sitting around would help us at all. "But..." I started to say, "How are we supposed to kill a giant squid?" I asked shyly. I mean, we had just gotten here yesterday, and we weren't even that good at catching fish, let alone giant sea monsters.

The pirate shifted his weight to look over at the last talker. ""There be a strange gen on it's forehead," The captain gruffed, "I believe that may be a key t' slay'n t' foul beast."

"How would we do it? Would we go on your ship or a different and kill it?" DVB said trying to understand.

"Well ye landlubber, me ship has got a big harpoon," he answered, "but I need ah distraction as I prepare it."

"Well, Rita, looks like you cn test out your crossbow," DVB said as he snapped his fingers and a small flame was hovering on it.

I gave a small chuckle, "Yeah, can't wait for that..." I looked over at Chris, he had been rather quiet, which seemed uncharacteristic of him. Not that I really knew any of these people that well, but judging by his previous actions he didn't seem like the quiet type. "So, do we need anything? Like, provisions? How long do you think it'll take to kill, or find... Dobby Mick." I asked, not able to keep a straight face while saying that name.

"We can always fish and have seaweed salad," DVB said. "Anyway, when do we leave, Captain?" he asked the pirate.
